Brothers in the Snow
Shadow and Ashura trudged through the snow. They had recently completed a reconnaissance mission and had decided to walk home.It was winter in the forest, and there was a soothing calm provided by the sight of the snow hanging off the trees. It served to relax both of them, something they needed after a hard day's work.
As they walked a gentle snow began to fall. Ashura fell behind slightly, walking at a slower pace and enjoying the cold scenery. Then he looked ahead of him at his brother. A small grin crept onto his face. Ashura quickly scooped some snow up in his hands, packed it tightly into a ball, and chucked it at the back of his brothers head.
The snowball flew true, and the wet snow smacked into the back of Shadow's head. Shadow stopped dead in his tracks, and looking annoyed he turned around. By this time Ashura was holding his chest while he doubled over laughing.
Shadow's look of annoyance slowly faded to one of ammusement, "So that's how you want to play?"
Shadow concentrated and disappeared in a flash of light as he used Chaos Control to warp. Ashura abruptly stopped laughing and looked around, wondering where his brother had gone.
A quiet rumbling was muffled by the snow. As Ashura turned he saw the giant snowball rolling down the hill. It hit him before he reacted, and Ashura went flying into a snow bank while inside the snowball.
When Ashura poked his head out of the snow bank he looked up the hill and saw Shadow there, a smirk on his face.
And the next one. I try to do one a night, but we'll see how long that lasts.
I'll let you guys decide what happened next.
